Once again, my friend heather has had a birthday. 39 this time. All of these photos were taken last year in her magical back yard. When I say magical, you have no idea. She and her neighbors/friends have merged their yards together in a very seperate but joined way. When I walked up to her house on this day I could hear music. I of coarse thought it was my phone even though I am perfectly aware of the ring tone I have and this music was clearly not the same. Then I thought maybe it was heather’s phone. well, I also know that this can’t be true because heather doesn’t own a cell phone. GASP! WHAT! no cell phone??? She is rather crazy. Just a few weeks ago she was telling some others friends and myself about how the day before she had gone on this 17 mile “run” in the mountains and decided not to take her husbands phone that he uses for work. (he works on a boat) When I say “run” i don’t mean putting on your sneakers and stepping out your front door to go for a jog. I mean crazy terrain where you have to climb things and take a map with you. I am not going to share the whole story with you because it isn’t my story and i am getting off track!!
Anywho! Where was I? The mysterious music, right! It turns out the music was coming from her neighbors side of the yard. Two men sitting there singing amazing songs. One playing the bango and the other playing the guitar. It was like a dream. I got some of the most beautiful photos that day. Here are some to share to get you through the last days of winter. Spring is just around the corner!
As for heather and her birthday, I love you very much my friend. I am so happy we have become friends. I hope our paths run parallel forever so we are always able to meet up with each other when the time is right. Happy late birthday!! may you live a long long life!
